BCS Energy Nigeria Limited is an energy company founded in june 2011 by a group of Nigerians from different backgrounds ranging from Engineering, Law, Finance and Business Administration.  BCS Energy has a group of consultants with a combined experience of over 40 years in power generation.

The company’s vision is to become the biggest producer of both clean renewable energy and gas turbine power in Africa.

In line with this vision, BCS energy has acquired a twelve hectare land at Ajaokuta, Kogi State (opposite two existing power plants) from the Federal Government of Nigeria and has obtained approval from the Transmission Company of Nigeria to evacuate 1000 MW Gas  power plant to TCN Grid at Ajaokuta II 330/132KV substation.

The company has gotten approval from Federal Ministry of Environment for EIA  and ESIA. In August 2016 we received a letter of commitment from Nigeria bulk Electricity Trading (NBET)  to enter into power purchase agreement (PPA) . This process is near closure, while our licence process is complete only awaiting endorsement by the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC)

In July 2016, we have also received a letter of commitment form the  Gas Aggregation Company of Nigeria (GACN) for the issuance of Gas Purchase Order (GPO) awaiting our licence from Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission.

BCS Energy is currently in discussion with some of the biggest power generation companies in the world and already had a partnership with one of them.
